The Vashon Rock Riders are a 4-H club located on Vashon Island, WA. 4-H has been around since 1902 and is America’s largest youth development program. The Vashon Rock Riders are a group of 10 kids ranging between the ages of 8-16. They ride horses under the leadership of Joe Cunningham several times each week and learn about the care of horses. As part of the program, they conduct business meetings twice a month, give presentations and design informational posters about animal care, serve the community through various projects, and participate in other leadership development opportunities.
